Promotion and Relegation for 11 a side |
There has been some queries in relations to the process of promotion and relegation for teams within the 11 a side. Following an Executive meeting and a meeting with the Fixtures Secretaries we wish to clarify the process.
All divisions, with the exception of the 13 Premier division, will be promoted or relegated on the basis of 2 up and 2 down.
The u13 premier division is the last one to move from 12 teams down to 10 teams so it is a slightly different process for this division. |

Thanks to all the DDSL Staff who made the weekend such a memorable one for many players. Congratulations to all the teams and players who took part in a fabulous weekend of football. To all the teams and players who did not win their matches, thank you for taking part and providing great games for all the spectators. To all the teams that were lucky enough to win, enjoy the celebrations.
A lot of work goes into arranging the Cup Final Weekend and thankfully the weather was not too unkind to us. There were a few downpours but the pitches held up so it was only a matter of us drying off and getting ready for the next set of matches.

This weekend sees a feast of football heading for the A.U.L. Complex, Clonshaugh.
Directions to the AUL: From the M50 (heading northbound) travel right to the very end heading toward Malahide. When you leave the M50 at the last roundabout, go onto the N32. At the first roundabout - Bewleys Hotel will be on the left, take the first exit, meet another roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Clonshaugh road. This is a very narrow road with lots of bends. About a mile onto this road, the AUL Complex is on the left side. There will be DDSL Cup Final signs directing you from Bewleys Hotel.
There is an entrance fee of €5.00 per adult. Children will not be charged. All paying adults will be given a copy of the Cup Final Programme and parking is provided too at no extra cost.
