What an excellent day to finish off the Cup Finals Weekend.
A special word of thanks to Mr Tony Martin from the AUL who made sure the DDSL Cup Finals went ahead this weekend. His staff helped greatly to ensure all ran smoothly. We are also extremely grateful to all the Referees who officiated over both days.

Special thanks to the staff in the AUL who worked extremely hard to ensure our Finals went ahead today. On Friday night most of the pitches in the AUL were practically floating after numerous downpours.
Thankfully the only major casualty was the pitch for the Small Sided Game. However, due to some quick thinking and a lot of elbow grease with the sweeping brush, DDSL staff and AUL staff united on a mission and managed to get a pitch playable.
Congratulations to all who took part in a wonderful display of football talent, it made the day very enjoyable for the big crowds who attended. |
