The Dublin and District Schoolboys League (DDSL) was founded in 1943 to provid a structured league system for all Dublin Football Clubs and for soccer clubs in the greater Dublin area.

The New 2016 Interim Season Kick Off

Following the formation meeting of our clubs - the new season kick-off is confirmed for Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th of September 2016. All age groups will start the interim season on the same week-end with 2 mid-week fixtures to be played in the early weeks of September.

Each division will be divided into 2 groups for the short season only and will play home & away fixtures, at the end of the league fixtures, the teams topping the groups will play off for a Shield to confirm the overall league winner in each division.

A panel meeting prior to the new season kicking of will take place on Thursday 1st September 2016 at 19.30 in the FAI Conference Centre for all DDSL referee's. The new changes to the laws of the game will be discussed, so it is important that all referees attend.

Volunteer Support Programmes

Following on from the success of previous Volunteer Support Programmes, I am happy to announce we will be running a similar programme in Q3/Q4 of 2016 in Dublin, Limerick, Galway and Cork.

Provisional Divisions u8 to u12

Please find attached the ‘Provisional Divisions’ for the u8’s to u12’s DDSL leagues….Updated ….as of 14th August 2016.

Please check to ensure all your teams are included or if any of your teams need to pull out due to lack of players etc…

Please also note that the u8’s to u10’s will be non-competition…again this season.

They will be re-graded at the end of November 2016.

These Divisions have been made up from all the surveys received….so thank you for them.

On Monday August 22nd we will be holding a short demonstration of our new on-line payment system that will come into immediate affect for our clubs to make payments due to the league. Warren and Michael from myclubfinanaces will deliver the demonstration and answer any questions you may have in relation to using the system.

Application to join the DDSL

Please note that the deadline for submitting your application to join the DDSL has passed - any club that has not submitted their application form, will not be guaranteed a position in the league for the coming season 2016/2017 (interim season and new calendar year season).

Formation meeting for season 2016

Clubs are advised that the formation meeting for the new season 2016 will take place on Monday August 15th at 19.30. The meeting will be held in the Conference centre in the FAI Building - all clubs are expected to attend.

New on-line payment system

The league is pleased to announce the launch of a new online team registration and payment system.

It is now live on the league website. Payment can be made by credit/dedit card, bank to bank transfer or cash/cheque. The system also facilitates payment by installments and includes online payment of fines. Click on the Myclubfinance logo on the homepage.

All data required by the league for each team can be input in the system with minimum entry.

Please note that the online entry system for the SFAI National Cups for the season 2016 - 2017 is scheduled to open on 20th June and close on 10th August 2016.

That closing date is set and will not be changed. Entries after that date cannot be processed. Please ensure clubs enter between the dates mentioned above,
