The Board of Directors and Executive Committee Dublin & District Schoolboys’/Girls’ League have decided that all league fees paid for season 2020/2021 (where no football was played) will be credited for season 2021/2022.
In order to further assist our Clubs a reduction of 25% in league fees will be applied to returning teams for season 2021/2022.
Clubs who have fees outstanding will have the reduction applied to remaining installments.
Clubs who have paid fees in full will receive a refund of 25%.
This decision was made to support our clubs and ensure that no child is left behind in returning to the playing field and the DDSL.
Covid-19 has had a damaging effect on depriving children of sport and football. It has also had a huge impact on the ability of clubs to function. Many clubs have lost out on their opportunities to fundraise and keep their clubs going.
The primary aim of the Dublin & District Schoolboys’/Girls’ League is to support our clubs and to provide structured football for over 28,000 children every week.
Our decision to reduce fees for season 2021/2022 is to help to ensure that financial considerations do not prevent children returning to football.
We look forward to working with our clubs to provide a successful return to football for the coming season.
