No fixtures will be published for under 15 & 16 age groups before the Junior Certificate examination – the last set of fixtures will be played on Wednesday 24th & Thursday 25th May as per last week's Striker. The next set of fixtures will be published in The Striker on Monday 12th June to be played on Saturday 17th/Sunday 18th June, mid-week matches will continue to recover matches lost by the exam break. If your team(s) are available to fulfil fixtures during the period of the examinations, contact the fixture secretary.

Club Secretaries are requested to send in the match results ASAP after the games – as mid-week games have started, we need to keep the tables updated.

The league cups will kick off over the coming weeks – in all DDSL league and cup games – the use of roll on/roll off using 7 substitutes under 12's to 18's inclusive) is permitted. In cup games - 10 mins e/w E/T + FIFA penalty rule to apply, the match fee is shared 50/50 by the home & away teams.

In the 7 a- side under 11's cup games – 5 minutes each way time to be played – followed by 3 penalty kicks, follow by sudden death if score is still level,

All clubs that won their league or a cup final are reminded that the cups MUST be returned to the league offices by June 22nd latest – a fine of €50 per week for late returning of the cups will be imposed after that date:

Please can all clubs read the FAI’s pdp booklet – with regards to the Small Sided Games - It can be accessed from the FAI’s website.

The Herald Striker & Striker Facebook page are the only official media partners of the DDSL, any newsworthy items you might want to promote for your club, please send into the league and we will pass them on.

Zero Tolerance:

The DDSL has adopted a Zero tolerance on violence, threats, racial abuse and intimidation. Under the SFAI/FAI rules every player, coach/manager and match officials will be protected by the league. The responsibility is on the club to ensure the safety of all concerned on match day and the conduct and behavior of their supporters.

Referees are reminded to return their match cards to the league after their week-end games are complete, to ensure results are posted to the website and kept up to date. The new online match card for both SSG and under 11 matches are available on the website under the download tab.
