The DDSL Youths played a friendly game tonight against Drogheda Utd in United Park with a 7.45 kick off.
The game had been arranged in preparation for their upcoming FAI Youth Inter League Quarter Final on Sunday 28th March when they face a daunting trip to play the Munster AUL in Turner's Cross, Cork.
The DDSL lost out to a very strong Drogheda side going down to an unfortunate own goal midway through the second half. Manager Rory Kerr was pleased with the workout as it gave him an opportunity to see a number of new faces.
Rory has organised a training session on Friday night in the AUL for the squad as they continue to prepare for their upcoming game in Cork.
